URGENT: We regret to inform you that today’s Annual Tea will be cancelled. We deeply apologize for this last minute announcement, but we are committed to protecting our members’ health and complying with the recommendations released last night by Mayor Breed and the SF Dept of Public Health.
The Junior League of San Francisco Inc.’s 2020 Annual Tea, presented by the Sustainer Council
Saturday, March 7, 2020 | 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Join us and get your tickets today! We are taking a page from the scripts of Downton Abbey during the Jazz Age when the norms of Edwardian high society started shifting in the 1920s.
Our goal is to add intrigue, a touch of pomp & circumstance, and a good old-fashioned time that possibly the Dowager Countess of Grantham would disapprove of, but secretly long to participate in. The day will consist of lawn games, a vendor faire, silent auction, cake auction, VIP Speakeasy Parlour, and more. It will be hosted at the iconic Fairmont Hotel.
Everyone will be encouraged to dress in period fashion (i.e., the 1920s), and there may be a prize or two! If dressing up in period wear is not your thing, no worries; we are happy that you can join us.
It will be an inclusive half-day event that is perfectly befitting for one’s family, friends, partners, and children. The Annual Tea celebrates our past presidents who have dedicated their time and money while championing our members to serve others. See you there!
1920s Attire Encouraged – To encourage the spirit of the roaring 20s, we are having a Dapper Man and Feminine Chic contest with prizes!
