The Junior League of San Francisco

Diaper Drive

First Holiday Diaper Drive November 15th - December 15th!

This league year the Advocacy Committee is engaging in projects that address our new issue of supporting the social and emotional health of the youth and the elderly.  We are holding a diaper drive in support of Help a Mother Out, a non-profit organization that provides diapers, raises awareness, and advocates for long term change in the social safety net.  Our contribution helps bolster the social and emotional health of young women by creating stability and teaching self-sufficiency.

We are excited to announce that this is the Advocacy Committee's first community project in support of our issue area - social and emotional health. In addition to collecting donations from members, we are setting up donation bins in various locations throughout the city.

Help us exceed our goal of 5000 diapers! Here is how you can participate:

1. November 15th General Meeting Collection Bin: Bring leftover or new cartons of fresh diapers for the collection bin (all sizes welcome; if purchasing new, sizes 4, 5, and 6 are of particular need) or stop by our table and donate through our online registry.

2.  JLSF HQ Collection Bin: Bring diapers to drop off at your next meeting between November 16th and December 15th!

3.  Online Diaper Registry: Purchase diapers through our Amazon registry to be shipped directly to Help A Mother Out, and share the link with your friends:

4. Spread the word! Tweet/post to Facebook to share: Help @JuniorLeagueSF support @helpamotherout bolster the social and emotional health of young women #JLSFDiaperDrive
