Join us for the grand finale of our Speaker Series this year, with Karl Larson, a Higher Education Advisor to Lt. Governor Eleni Kounalakis’ office!

Get ready to delve into critical topics shaping the future of higher education in California and how we can be advocates locally.  Karl will lead an engaging discussion on AB 928, the Student Transfer Achievement Reform Act of 2021, aimed at fostering equity in higher education, and how they are working to continue to make higher education more accessible.

Karl is from the Midwest and made his journey to California for graduate studies at UC Davis which laid the foundation for his deep commitment to educational reform. With a Ph.D. in neuroscience and invaluable experience as a Fellow with the California Council on Science & Technology and roles in the offices of Senator Henry Stern and Assemblymember Kevin Mullin, Karl brings unparalleled expertise to his role as Higher Education Advisor with Lt. Governor Kounalakis.
